Matthew 1:21 - And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name Jesus: for he shall save his people from their sins

The story of the virgin birth of Jesus fits beautifully and marvelously into Gods plan of redemption. His miraculous birth, his incomparable life, his vicarious suffering and death, his glorious resurrection, and his presence and power today is something that has been introduced into human life unparalled and unprecedented.

The Deity of the babe born in Bethlehems manger staggers all imagination and beggars all description. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, The superlative man, greater than the great, better than the best, fairer than the fair, purer than the pure and richer than the rich

Jesus became Son of Man that we might become Sons of God; he came from Heaven, where rivers never freeze, winds never blow, frost never chills the air and the flowers never fade. He came to seek and to save that which was lost. He left Heaven for earth on a mission of salvation and regeneration. He makes all things new - new hearts, new lives, new homes. He offers a new day and a new hope

There is personality in the name, Jehovah; There is majesty in the name, God, there is power in the name Lord; there is unction in the name Christ, there is affinity in the name Emmanuel, there is intercession in the name Mediator, there is help in the name Advocate, but there is salvation in none other name under heaven given among men, apart from the name of Jesus. An Alexander may conquer all the known nations of the world; a Newton may bring about an intellectual revolution; an Einstein may usher in an Atomic Age; but there is only one who can touch and transform the human heart, and that one is Jesus. What a lovely name; That name called Jesus.
